Hello world! Welcome to my brand new web site! This site has been a long time in the making .....

Many of you reading this probably already know me. But for those of you who don't know me (which, if we are all being honest is probably *most* of you) and are wondering 'Who the hell are you' and 'How did I end up on this blog', let me give you the quick and easy rundown.

Hi! My name is Lauren *shakes hand*. I am a full-time teacher who has been a hobbyist photographer since 2012. Photography has brought many things into my life and I consider myself really lucky for all the experiences I've had and the people I've met. I know, I know. Get some wine for that cheese.

But really, I've graduated through several different cameras, shot at the coolest locations, and met really amazing people. I've been proud of my shots and cried over pictures I felt weren't good enough for clients. I have felt uncomfortable in my own skin at shoots and I have been treated like family by nearly all clients I have met (seriously, people are amazing). I've developed my skills and learned so much about my hobby. I have dragged my feet with working and I have been patient and determined. I've learned so much about myself through this whole process and I have pushed myself out of my comfort zone.

I have loved every second of this journey.

With that being said, my goal for this blog portion of my website is to share. Share my current projects, share my recent sessions, share some things from my day-to-day life, share ideas and photography tips. Share!!!

Yes, this is a boring post ..... I know. But it's my first post and hey, now I can only go up from here ;)
