That Natural Look

We all tend to talk about "the natural look" in terms of beauty - without makeup or lots of hair product. But what we seem to forget is that "natural" can describe our interactions with others.

I had the pleasure of taking photos for one of my *favorite* families last weekend! They had picked a park for their photos, not knowing that there was a playground in that very park. Well, you know that nothing gets past a two year old - nothing as important as a playground, that is. So rather than forcing their little ones through a staged photo shoot, they decided to just go with it and have fun running around and playing on the various equipment! And honestly, I feel like this truly worked to their advantage. Everyone interacted very naturally with each other and we were able to capture genuine smiles and moments <3

Even though we didn't use any fancy props or Pinterest poses, I think these photos turned out absolutely perfect! It will be fun for this family to look back on these pictures as their little ones grow and remember exactly how they were as tiny babes.
