On the way to Cape May ...

Sadly, my summer break is coming to an end :( I know, boo-hoo for me. So this past Thursday, I attended a teacher in-service during the work day, then drove the Jeep directly down to Cape May for a beach photo shoot. Which was pretty awesome! The family I met was seriously *beyond* sweet - it was like I had known them for years!

And to be perfectly honest, their warmth really helped to encourage me. Because, and I hate to admit this, beach photos really intimidate me! The sun can be very harsh, which can also create crazy shadows, and nobody wants that.

So this particular shoot, much like most, required a little trial-and-error plus some patience.

But overall, I think we rocked it! The families personality shone through and you can see their love for each other.
