Better Late Than Never

I was contacted quite a few weeks ago by a family I had never met. They wanted family photos, but mostly photos of their one year old son. Needless to say, I jumped on the chance! I love meeting new families and first birthday shoots are always so cute!

It may have taken me over a week to share these beautiful images with you, but there they are! This family was thrown multiple hurdles: not only were we interrupted by very unexpected rain, not only was the mud sticking to e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g ...... but, we were also threatened to be thrown out of the location for not having a permit! You would think all of this would have made for a miserable hour for this family of three. But you would be wrong, very wrong. They were so warm and willing to try everything and anything! And it really paid off for them.

It may have taken me over a week to share these beautiful images with you, but here they are! I hope you enjoy them as much as I did capturing and editing them :)
